The TIME ADHX 45: Maximum Gravel

THE MOST ADVANCED BIKE IN THE CATEGORY
Dyneema® has gained attention in cycling news, yet few manufacturers have used this advanced material due to limitations. Most brands on standard prepreg sheets, which require curing temperatures too high for Dyneema® fibers. Additionally, low demand for unique products makes them less profitable to produce.
UNIVERSAL DERAILLEUR HANGER (UDH) COMPATIBILITY
We’ve upgraded the ADHX 45 with Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) compatibility, bringing even more versatility and ease to your rides. This new industry-standard design ensures smoother shifting performance, and enhances the durability of your drivetrain.
VOLUME, TRACTION & CONTROL
A 45c tire has roughly three times the volume of a 28c tire and about 65% more than a 38c version. More volume allows lower air pressures and better traction, increased comfort and more stability. Additionally, the more aggressive tread patterns available in larger sizes further contribute to grip on uncertain terrain.
BRAIDED CARBON STRUCTURE
We have taken the Alpe d’Huez X to an entirely new level with the same top shelf composites layup of Alpe d’Huez Disc. We updated the carbon/Vectran® composite structure by increasing the amount of high modulus Toray M40J fibers and adding Dyneema®, the World’s Strongest Fiber® to create our most advanced BCS hybrid blend ever.

DETERMINING THE SWEET SPOT
Choosing the right bike enhances your enjoyment. For occasional rough roads, the Alpe d'Huez X offers great handling. If you mainly ride on pavement, a gravel bike may not be necessary; the Alpe d'Huez X with its 32c tire is fast and comfortable. For exploring unimproved back roads, the ADHX 45 could be ideal.
FEATURES
DEDA DCR
The included DEDA S-DCR headset is compatible with standard stems and handlebars for semi-integrated setup or add a full DCR headset cover/stem/bar available from DEDA to finish your TIME with fully-integrated cables and brake hoses.
1X Derailleur cover
With the included TIME Derailleur Mount Cover, your 1X setup will look as slick and finished as the rest of your bike. Full compatibility with single and double–ring drivetrains doesn’t mean making a visual compromise.
FORGED CARBON
With 20x the fatigue life of steel or alloy, we use forged carbon where others spec heavier aluminum parts. A 60% fiber content allows drilling and threading without cracking, processes that are much more challenging with prepreg construction.
TOP TUBE MOUNT POINT
Frame storage is great, but fingertip access while riding is better. Your Alpe d'Huez X is compatible with bags or mounting systems that use a standard bottle mount.
REINFORCED STEERER
Fork steerer tubes must withstand a great deal of stress from riding and clamping forces imparted by the stem. TIME have always reinforced steerers with Kevlar or Vectran fibers to dramatically reduce the risk of total failure and separation in this critical area.
