ERE RESEARCH TECHNOLOGY
At Ere, our fascination with wheels began with tyres, leading us to discover the need for an ideal tubeless tyre fit on rims. This sparked the creation of Ere WHEELS.
Wheel technology is intricate, and we’re excited to share our unique construction process for each component. Initially a small team dedicated to carbon performance wheels, we've since expanded our lineup.

HUB DEVELOPMENT
Ere hubs come in various specifications, aligned with our Genus, Omnia, Tenaci, and Explorator wheels.
Our Secure Lock Drive hubs are meticulously engineered for optimal performance. They feature tight “tapered fit” spoke holes that securely lock the spokes in place, ensuring tensile strength and safety in case of failure. We offer three versions: the lightweight Genus with a carbon hub body and alloy spoke flanges, and the Omnia and Explorator, both made from 100% aluminum, all with 24 holes.
All hubs are equipped with X12 axles and can be retrofitted for X15 or QR setups, with conversion kits available.
BEARINGS
To make SLD hubs run at an even lighter rolling resistance and more durable, special Japanese EZO ceramic bearings "CER" can be installed and retrofitted to all ere hubs. We also have the standard Japanese HQS bearings ready for replacement should your wheels need them.

ERE RIMS
Our aerodynamic design reduces wind drag and enhances wheel stiffness, utilizing Formula One technology for optimal wheel-rim-tire combinations in performance cycling. Our Advanced Bead BedABB) technology secures high-pressure tubeless tires at lower pressures, while a 19mm inner rim measurement reduces tire stress. We also implement Advanced Linear Pull (ALP) technology to strengthen the nipple bed, improving durability, and our Advanced Calculated Lay-up Process (ACLP) innovates composites through rigorous testing across Ere products.
GENUS II AE65-R
The Genus II AE65-R is a high-performance, UCI-approved carbon wheelset from Ere Research designed for road cycling. These wheels feature a 65mm rim depth, disc brake compatibility, and are tubeless-ready, built for optimal aerodynamic performance and versatility across various tire widths. The wheelset also includes a lifetime warranty and crash replacement policy upon registration.
GENUS II SL30-R
The Genus II SL30-R carbon wheels by Ere Research are high-performance, ultra-lightweight wheels designed for road cycling, featuring a full carbon rim construction optimized for tubeless and hooked clincher tires. They are UCI approved and boast a lifetime warranty and crash replacement policy upon registration. They have a total set weight of 1188 grams and include features such as Sapim Aero Carbon spokes, Enduro/SKF bearings, and a 36T star ratchet engagement system for optimal performance.
TANACI GA4 AERO GRAVEL WHEELS
The Ere Research Tenaci GA40 aero gravel wheels are high-performance wheels designed for gravel bikes, featuring a lightweight construction of 1.549 grams with 40mm deep hookless carbon rims optimized for aerodynamics in off-road conditions, and paired with durable Iona S hubs that use a Torque 2 design with SKF sealed bearings for reliability. These wheels are tubeless-ready, compatible with a wide range of tire widths (32C-58C), and come with a lifetime warranty upon registration.
PUSHING THE LIMITS OF PERFORMANCE AND SPEED
Our time trial wheels, developed in collaboration with the esteemed World Tour team Intermarché-Wanty, are engineered to elevate performance and speed. These wheels played a pivotal role in securing the first professional victory and the yellow jersey for Rune Herregods in the first stage of the ZLM Tour.
